The Iowa Caucus debacle has brought an onslaught of news articles on the topic of technology and polling, with opinions ranging from fearful to apprehensive and everything in between. Several journalists see the Iowa Caucus's failure to report caucus results due to an app glitch as a herald of the danger technology may bring to elections, whether that danger comes form technology's ability to be hacked, or its tendency to fail when we need it most.
A number of scathing articles on today's overreliance on technology have arisen, and some have even called for the return to paper ballots--or at least, wondered whether it might be wise to investigate the possibility of switching back. Other than editorial articles, there are a number of more neutral articles from several news sources reporting on how the Iowa Caucus failure is affecting or can affect the future primaries.
